Certified Unfollowable Professional™
Four short practical exercises in recognizing situations that require absolutely no further involvement. Candidates who finish are certified. The wording of the certificate is where the Department expresses its feelings.
About the credential
The C.U.P. certifies competence in professional non-participation: the ability to meet an unsolicited expert, a business opportunity, a public challenge or an urgent request for your opinion, and to leave each one roughly where you found it.
A note on the abbreviation. The Institute acknowledges that the abbreviation has caused administrative concern. A working group was formed to propose an alternative. It produced C.U.P.P., C.U.F. and, after a long afternoon, C.U.P. again. The working group has since been disbanded, at its own request.
- Four exercises, each with three or four responses. Some responses have consequences.

- Everyone who finishes is certified. The grade varies.
